Confirm that the vehicle can be released
Ask the seller, garage or auction what is needed for collection. Payment clearance, release documents and appointment rules can affect the available day. Do not book around an assumed release time that has not been confirmed.
Provide the exact collection branch or address and a contact who can allow access. Agree who holds the keys and how the recovery operator will identify the vehicle.
Send the car’s actual condition
Include the make, model, transmission and whether it runs and drives for loading. Mention any missing keys, locked brakes, flat tyres, damage or modifications. A seller’s description may not cover all loading requirements.
For a van, add dimensions, weight if known and whether goods remain inside. Truck capacity and suitable equipment must be assessed before the collection is accepted.
Prepare the destination too
Give the full delivery address or postcode and confirm that a person or garage can receive the vehicle. Check gates, opening hours, unloading space and key handover. Tell us if a delivery must happen within a particular window.
If the collection is from a height-restricted or managed car park, include those details early. A new obstacle discovered on arrival can change the plan.
Choose a date, then agree the window
Select your preferred date in the quote assistant and add any preferred time in the notes. The team checks availability and confirms the collection arrangements with you. An enquiry is not itself a reserved transport slot.
Before booking, check the agreed work, price, estimated collection time, passenger needs and any deposit arrangements. Let us know promptly if the vehicle, access or delivery location changes.
